Zamajobe Sithole was was born in Frankfort on the 19th of February and raised in Vosloorus, South Africa. She is a jazz artist from South Africa whose music also can fall under R&B, Afro-pop and Afro-fusion.

She is a native of Frankfort (Free State province). She grew up in Vosloorus singing with the local choir from age nine. Her mentor was Pastor Benjamin Dube, a famous gospel musician. She joined his church when she was 8 and later sang for the church and joined the choir. She grew up listening to funk, gospel, jazz, Afro-pop, etc. She started playing the guitar (at 17).
