Jah Wadada profile: Learnt to play accordion, trumpet and acoustic guitar by early teens. Started professional career as bassist with Afro Rock groups Big Beats and Golden Beats. Performed in Cote d'Ivoire on bass with The Bulldozers and also worked in Sierra Leone as a studio musician playing guitar. Singles recorded include 'Mama Africa', 'Citizen of Africa' and 'Mr Government'.
Performed at PANAFEST (Accra) with SOZ of Twelve Tribes of Israel. Toured Abidjan and performed at FESTAC at the invitation of Alpha Blondy with The Ark, a band led by Michael Asher of Morgan Heritage.
