A. B. Crentsil is one of the evergreen highlife artistes of Ghana. He grew up playing the guitar, While working as an electrician in his youth, he also performed with the Strollers Band owned by one Kwesi Donkor. AB has played with the El Dorado's, Sweet Talks and then finally the Ahenfo Band.
He emerged on the Ghanaian music scene in the 1960's, playing with the El Dorado's Sweet Talks and the Ahenfo band which helped make guitar highlife more popular.
