Ameyaw Debrah recently interviewed Yvette Nsiah, Miss Universe Ghana 2008 about her foray into music. She goes by the moniker Yvette Fancy and recently performed a single at the opening of Ghana's Fashion weekend called 'Always have my heart'.

She started taking music more seriously in 2006 and is currently working on her first album due in 2010. Her sound is really diverse but still very African. Her emergence through Miss Universe will give her some leverage to promote herself as she takes on more creative arts. She also models and would want to act in the future.

Se talked about the influence of Anita Baker and Michael Jackson's music but maintains that her sound will have an African feel. She also admires the Neptunes, Gwen Stefani, Chris Brown, etc. She also mentioned Honey bee couture, a fashion outfit her sister, Melissa, (who is quite the dancer herself) has been working on.
She also sang a song called 'The message' which she wrote in Vietnam and is dedicated to children all over the world.
