K-Lyinn whose actual name is Jacqueline Ntuyabaliwe is a bongo flava artiste from Tanzania. She is also Miss Tanzania 2000.

By the age of six where she was mimicking Madonna and Mariah Carey songs and in later years, participated in school concerts singing different songs.

She started her music career as lead singer of the Tanzanites in 1998. Before she won Miss Tanzania 2000, she was part of the Dar es Salaam-based Kilimanjaro Band. After working in the corporate industry and on television, she returned to music in 2004 and her single, Machozi ya Furaha, topped various local charts.

Top in Dar refers to being the top (musician) in Dar es Salaam. His real name is Khalid Salum Mohammed.

He attended Bunge primary school until 1996, and later 2000 he attended Ordinary level. In the same year, Khalid Mohamed underwent a production studio course for eight months and then attended several computer courses in Dar es Salaam.

T.I.D. comes out of the current vivid hip hop/ R&B musical environment in Dar es Salaam, T.I.D. is in fact short for "Top in Dar".

Lanre Dabiri is known as Eldee da don. He is a rapper and producer, handling Trybe Records. He is also a qualified architect.

Lanre ”Eldee” Dabiri grew up in northern Nigeria where he went to high school in Kaduna. There, he met Adekunle “KB” Bello and Mfon ”Freestyle” and they formed the group Trybesmen.
They released their first single called 'Trybal marks' in July 1999 and then 'Shake bodi' later in September. Their debut album, 'L.A.G style' was a hit and established them as a premier group in Nigeria. They once staged a staggering 78 shows in the space of a year.

Ernest 'Owoahene' Nana Acheampong is one of the most popular musicians ever in Ghana. He is also the other half of the famous Sibo brothers who popularized Burger highlife in Ghana (the other is Charles Kojo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba). Nana Acheampong is also known as the Champion Lover boy. The Abuakwa native and Kumasi Technical Institute graduate has a musical career spanning almost 15 years.

In middle school, he led his school band. He left for Germany in the eighties and played with the Talking Drum band. He formed his band in 1987 before he hooked up with Daddy Lumba.

He is mostly identified by his mask. The mask and the name (common man) symbolize the faceless, the voiceless in the society, particularly in Africa. Lagbaja's mask reminds you of your own facelessness. Other artistes have followed this mask concept and symbolism

Bisade sings a lot about social issues, primarily in Yoruba and English. His debut album (Lagbaja) was in 1993.

Tony Tetuila was born Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye Awosanya and is a hip hop artist. He was a member of the Remedies which also included Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Montana. He has enjoyed a lot of airplay in West Africa on the back of records like Ego better, Call my name, Iseju Akan, Your kind of woman, Fefe n'efe with Ghana's Tic Tac, My heart go jigi, Morning Time and Omo Eko.
