Kenya celebrates its son: Obama

It's amazing how Barack Obama an American senator with Kenyan roots was given presidential treatment during his recent visit to Kenya. His prior visit to South Africa had been a quiet affair where regular citizens hardly recognized him.
However once he touched down in Nairobi everyone in Nairobi went wild. For a week or so he captivated the minds and hearts of Kenyans, with a message that resonated with the ordinary "Mwananchi", speaking against corruption and government excesses. He is definitely a man to watch as he navigates the American political landscape.
