Cindy Thompson is a gospel musician in Ghana, best known for her chart-topping hit, Awurade Kasa released in 2000. Awurade Kasa was used in the New Patriotic Party's political campaigns in the 2000 election year and ultimately helped them wrestle power from the incumbent NDC government.
