ADOLE IS GHANA’S MOST BEAUTIFUL

As if by design, the National Theater was besieged by fans of Adole singing and heaping praises upon praises on their newly crowned heroin a few minutes after she had been pronounced winner of the second edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful Reality Show. Indeed Adole deserve the crown as days to the finals she was cool, calm and very collected in her preparation to glory.

Adole might not be the fans favorite from the very beginning of the show but she crawled her way through the hearts of both viewers from her region, Greater Accra, and beyond. Her confidence, charm and beauty not doing away with her eloquence and knowledge were the key tools that took her to the finals and to the crown.

Eyram, representing the Volta Region, thought she was the closets to the crown but she had a rude awakening and a not so palatable gift on her birthday. She glowed throughout the show and it came as no surprise when she was decorated as the lady with the smoothest and finest skin of the final four.

For Ruweida and Fanny, representing the Northern and Central Regions respectively, their luck and charm couldn’t take them that far when it mattered most at the finals. With the crowd at their very best routing for whomever they thought was the right person for the crown all the four contestants were buoyed for the night.

It therefore came as no surprise as some fans of Fanny and Ruweida started shouting aahhh, aaahhh when the emcee for the night, Gideon, announced their third and fourth placing respectively. These two ladies exhibited a good sense of behavior and judgment in handling the results as it was announced. They were not moved by the chants of the crowd and they kept on smiling till they walked of stage which to me I deem it very professional and heartwarming.

They were there. I mean the Osu boys were there in their numbers with well composed melodies full of praises for Adole. As if by design, their well composed songs caught on well with the audience in front of the theater. Adole’s relatives were not spared either. They were “ponded” with water and beer. They couldn’t “talk” that much since they were caught in the frenzy.

Adole drove away with two cars. Yes two cars, a saloon TATA Indica and a 4X4 TATA Indica. She is to use the 4X4 as her ceremonial car for a year and use the saloon car as her personal car as part of her prizes.

In their words, the three other winners conceded defeat in good fate and promised to work on their respective projects. “I was looking for a good gift on my birthday and placing second was the perfect gift I could have never asked for. I was looking to go far in the competition and my position this evening is great and I thank God for it”, Eyram said.
“There is nothing much for me to say, the judges and the fans have spoken, I did my best but I had to be contempt with the position. I thank everyone, the fans, the judges and everybody for brining me this far and I hope to continue with the knowledge I have gained to promote our culture and preserve it”. Fanny added.

Ruweida still have her eyes set on eradicating Guinea Worm in the Northern Region of Ghana and she was grateful to her fans and the opportunity given her through the power of TV to gain some fame and that would help her in her quest to succeed.

In all, the night was fun and the fans had their monies worth. They couldn’t help but dance and shout throughout the night with performances from Joe of Mentor II fame, Jerry of TV3, Obour and Elevava.

Some of the fans Weekly Fylla spoke to expressed satisfaction at the turn out of events as none of them really questioned the results and the fairness of it.
