Much props to Rocky Dawuni to having his independence day bash at the Tamale Sports Stadium this year. It had a special message on water and sanitation and Rocky wanted to take the music and message to the most important areas. From reports, the concert was excellent and the jamming was ‘brutal’ 
It didn’t draw many major musicians but it also featured Sheriff Ghale, Serena Issah, Abu Sadiq, and the Tamale Soldier Band.
He performed popular tracks like Wake the town, Crusade, Africa for learn and In Ghana.
The concert was supported by UNICEF, European Commission, Radio Justice, MKOGH, Radio Savannah and Gariba Lodge. It was organized by Africa Live in collaboration with the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly.
