Kaakyire Kwame Appiah is a highlife musician in Ghana and is famous for his Soroku music which is very danceable and party-like. He is also called Father Christmas due to his penchant for having songs about Christmas or the holiday season on his albums.
He is most famous for his 24th song which talked about how most Ghanaians pack bag and baggage (polythene bags) during Christmas and travel to their hometowns on the 24th of December to go celebrate the holidays.
Some of his popular songs are Samantha, Di na ka, Emboso, Ma wie, Bronya, Aserewa, Ko fie ko di, Goodbye, etc.
