Raymond Kofi Frimpong, also known as MadFish is a dancehal musician in Ghana.

He was born in 1981 and attended the Green Hill International School and continued at Kumasi High Secondary School (KUHISS).

Unlike many of Ghana's current musicians, he honed his talents through the Streets, when he was 5 yrs old he was trained by two Jamaican musicians who were based in Ghana, At the age of 13 he won the best artist for talented kids (KIDDAFEST) at the National Theater in Ghana. When he was 15 and a student in a boarding high (secondary) school, he would leave school for radio stations, where he hosted his own programs, produced by Methodman his Manager.

He ended up being voted the entertainment prefect for his school and began writing and recording songs. At the age of 24 and with a wealth of collaborations, he finally got a record deal. One lady called Maxine (a Liberian who is also half-German) helped her financially for his debut album after he struggled to find a producer. He soon released his debut album called Max wo ne me baby. The title track topped the charts and featured Maxine, who was now his girlfriend.

He has performed, opened for and sometimes upstaged Shaggy, the late Lebo (South Africa), amongst others. He was nominated for many Ghana music awards as well. He had the honour of being invited to Gabon by Eben Entertainment with artistes like Shaggy, Reevon, Lebo and many more to celebrate the birthday of the President at their national stadium. He was also the main attraction amongst others, invited by the legendary George Oppon Weah during the Liberian election to perform during their peace campaign.

Under his own record label (co-owned with Maxine) called Mad Max Records, his second album came out in 2006 and was dubbed Abodam. Abodam means 'madness' in Twi. He had a little feud with Kwaw Kese (who is popularly called Abodam in Ghanaian music circles) over the use of the word Abodam.

Some of his songs include Ankwansima dede, Nana Yaa, Sanbra, Mefeele wo, Sugar Daddy, etc
