I have been in contact with Museke for quite a while and when I suggested they wrote about the battle of the bands event that HP are running they asked me to sign-up and write it myself.

Therefore, I decided to do just that in this short little blog post. Hewlett Packard and kindly sponsoring an event around a 'Battle of the Bands' theme, on their website Design Your Personal Life.

The idea is that bands sign-up, upload their music and visitors to the site can vote on music they like. This is great as for every vote 10ZAR is being donated to charity and over 20,000 ZAR has been raised, hopefully this post will help more money to be made for charity and let south african musicians be heard.

Not only that, but the top 5 musicians will be asked to play at a live event held in Johannesburg and win a free HP Laptop.
