Malaika's Jabulani Ndaba is no more

malaika afro-pop vuthelani destiny sekunjalo south africa mzansiJabulani Ndaba, a member of the Afro-pop group, Malaika passed away on Monday, July 14th, 2008. Ndaba lost his battle with from Tuberculosis, TB. According to Malaika’s manager, Stacey Gule, Ndaba died at 12:13pm in Tshepong Hospital, Klerksdorp. His condition got worse in 2006 and he didn't perform with the group. In Malaika's video for their hit, Never Change my mind, he didn't perform in the video but there were graphics and illustrations of him. He was fully involved in Malaika's third album, Sekunjalo. Born in Klerksdorp, North West, on October 4 1976, , Ndaba was a hands on artist and also a producer who produced for the likes of DJ Sbu, Robby Malinga and his own band Malaika. He shot to fame with the early kwaito group, Stouters. After the group collapsed, Ndaba, Bongani Nchang and Matshediso Moholo formed the successful trio group, Malaika in 2003. They went on to release three successful albums.
