Antonio Bukhar, the Uganda hotstepper, goes into the studio

After the victory of winning NTV's Hotsteps dance competition, and being crowned best dancer in Uganda, I have started music with my KYEKYO hit, featuring Vamposs. If you love action and perfect performance, be alert for all my shows.

More information - After being crowned as the best dancer in Uganda{East Africa} with the title HOTSPEPPER of the year, Antonio Ssebuuma (stage name Bukhar), has embarked on the music journey. He has an afro beat hit called kyekyo featuring Vamposs.

23-year-old Antonio is the fourth of five children and grew up around Kampala. He started out as a dancer at an early age of 7 years with Micheal Jackson as the Hero. But like it is with most kids, Antonio's attention span was short, so he outgrew MJ and turned his admiration to Congolese musicians and their Lingala dancing. These, too, were outgrown after some time and replaced by Usher. This background equipped him with unique dancing styles.

By 2000, when his school then, Lubiri SS, held a talent show, Antonio was a pro at dancing and was nicknamed "the "Dance Wizard". His life became one big dance since then. "By the time I finished S.6 in 2003, it was evident that I had a brigt future in performance. Having a passion As a born-again Christian, he felt the need to dance for God so he joined Miracle Centre Cathedral's dance group, Miracle Teens. He shone amongst his fellow teens and started choreographing with the teens.

His life is using his talent to give back to the community and being an inpiration to kids.Some of the ways has been through co-founding the breakdance project Uganda. Worked with an NGO called In-movement,And then volunteering for NGO called One open eye headed by Patricia.

His unique dance moves thrilled Hot Steps viewers on NTV for weeks, and he was voted the Hotstepper of The Year at the finale of May 25 at Hotel Africana.

Antonio Bukhar is a great inspiration to kids. he has taught dance all over Uganda in different orpanages to both adavantaged and disadvantaged.
