The 1st Africa Music Awards (AMA) event is tipped to be the biggest African party, exploding with the exquisite continent’s rich music and culture on Christmas Saturday 27 December 2008 at the stunning 1930’s fashionable venue; TROXY (490 Commercial Road, London E1). Within its niche, the AMA will aim to expose the incredible richness of African music and culture, showcasing the breath-taking performances from the Continent’s music giants and top musicians.

The much-anticipated CD “Sika Ye” from Ghana’s Golden voice “Felix Owusu aka Qkesi is finally going to be released these holidays. The release date for the CD is November 23rd 2008; Sputnic Erawoc CEO of SMG (Sputnic Music Group) Atlanta was at hand to handle questions from the press for his newly signed Artist.

Felix, who has been quiet from the music scene for a while decided to take some time out to spend and enjoy life with his wife and 3 boys. Felix leaves in Atlanta and still writes some of the best songs from an African Artist; he has been working on this CD for roughly 2 years with some of Ghana’s best musicians.
