What Dey Fighting For? - EeS and Ras Sheehama

YES-JA!
It’s been a while, but as always there has been a lot happening lately for “EeS” in Europe. Just last Month Mr. Ras Sheehama, has visited EeS (Eric Sell) in Cologne (from 21 to 29 Mai 2008) to shoot a Music Video to one of the Tracks from EeS’s latest “Sharp, Sharp!” Album, called “What Dey Fighting For?” featuring Ras Sheehama. Thanks to the support of the P.art.ners (Berlin – Windhoek Project) that sponsored the flight for Mr. Sheehama this made the video possible.

Osuofia don come back again with his funny music

Nkem Owoh is one of the most sought after actors in Nollywood, the third biggest movie industry in the world. He is most popular for his role in the blockbuster, Osuofia in London (Parts 1 and 2). Sometime in 2004, he tried his hand on music and delivered the timeless classic I go chop you dollar which was used by ABC's 20/20 television show in their feature on the 419 (advanced fee fraud) phenomenon. Nkem Owoh is back again with more music and he's featuring rappers amongst others. Meet Osuofia the highlife musician. You can see his previous hits at his Museke page. Below are some of the newer tracks.

Stars of the Future duo Irene and Jane split

So the juicy news making the rounds in the Ghanaian music scene is that Irene and Jane have split and are going to pursue solo careers. Right when we heard Styl-Plus had released a single celebrating their longevity, another group has fallen apart. I could see this coming though. Right when Irene featured on Richie's Frema remix, I could see trouble. And then later on Richie announced to me Irene had signed onto his Lynx Entertainment label and the news left was that from Charterhouse.

Grafton: M.Trill set to thrill

m.trill grafton de indispensables nigeria hip hopLike most rap artists around the globe, Teria Yarhere a.k.a Mtrill knew that he had the tendencies of putting words together to form rhymes before he ever knew he could rap. So when he embarked on a mission of writing lyrics for his elder brother, little did he know that he was laying a foundation for a career that will bring him this far. Born into the family of Mr and Mrs Yarhere on the 18th of May 1979,Mayjah thrill joined the hip hop movement when he was in Federal Government College Odogbolu. Although he knew how to rap, he was never on the fore front, instead he began exerting his energy into organizing hip hop shows.

STYL-Plus is back and better with a new album

Styl-Plus, one of Nigeria's best groups, is out again. It seems they release albums every two years or so. I have heard a few singles and this album is bound to do as well if not better as the last one (Expressions). The name of the album is called "Back and better" and the first two singles are Four Years (audio and lyrics here) and I no want trouble. Stay tuned to Museke.com for more news, audio, lyrics and video.

Kidumu - the Burundian music superstar!

Nameless' Sinzia single was probably the biggest African song in 2006. After Sinzia, African music fans wanted more. We waited for the CD and other singles. Months later, we were rewarded with Karibia, another hot track that featured Kidumu. Who was Kidumu? Who is Kidumu? Why didn't Nameless release another video so we could see who Kidumu was? Now we know, Kidumu is a famous Burundian singer who apparently lives in Kenya. Nameless and Kidumu combined on Karibia and that song is hot. That's not all, Kidumu has some really great music of his own.

Here are a few videos using some of his songs and the video uploader also adds the lyrics to some of the songs.
