Here is the video for Njalo by Mina Nawe (South Africa) and Lady Jaydee (Tanzania)
Judith Wambura is an established R&B and Bongo flava artiste from Tanzania while Mina Nawe is an up and coming Afro-pop group from South Africa.
This collaboration got a nomination for a Channel O spirit of Africa music video award. The group members of Mina Nawe are Carlo, Manchild and Mazet.
Looking forward to more great collaborations between African musicians.

Distance by Lady Jaydee video

It's a great collabo!
I love Mina Nawe! They are even more awesome in concert! The two (Mina Nawe and Lady Jay Dee) also have another song together on the same album, called Tuba Tuba. Look out for it! Lady Jay Dee keeps going "cheza cheza" which is so Southern African clubbing!!! I think its cute, its another personal fav.
Am a Kenyan residing in Texas with a passion for nice African music doesn't matter where it is from.
I just love seeing African musicians doing their thing in their native, i'ts more original and this doesnt mean I am against songs songs done in English.
Now to the point, the video is great and the song can make Brenda Fassie turn in her grave (No pun intended, I'd vote for you anytime.)
Tim G.
uh , why?
Africa, stand up! I love this song.
Ses'fikile, s'yok'jayivisa njalo! Siyothi Zuma-Zuma-Zuma!
I just love being multilingual! And I love Lady Jay Dee! Her Distance song has how many languages again? Swahili, Zulu, English, French, Lingala, Luganda?
She reminds me of Brenda Fassie!
Where have they disappeared to? Any album in the works? Any collabos on the stove? They better step it up up up, because the Afro-popers of Mzantsi are on a new level right now, and festive season is slowly approaching. The best time to have a hit song go platinum in one day!:-P
