    Henry Agyekum Chemphe

Chemphe's real name is Henry Agyekum Chemphe. He's a pop and R&B singer from Ghana and is trying to introduce a new genre called UrbanLife which mixes West African highlife with urban sound like rhythm & blues and pop. He is also a composer, making songs for people like Nana Fynn.

Chemphe means 'Okye ma ne ye fe' in Twi which translates to someone who distributes beautifully. True to his name, he seeks to benevolently give out good music to society.

Some of his popular songs are No Pampanaa, Tie m'asem, Yaa Mansa, Fear within, Menka and the single, One people, Chocolate in you, Why you dey treat am bad which addresses domestic violence.

Chemphe's music is so melodical and beautiful. It is one of the few things I have to keep me happy while I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my husband from Ghana to the States. I am an American lady in love with Ghanaian culture and love Chemphe's music!!! Thank you so much!!!
