Chonga viazi by Boomba Clan! Money, relationships and life

Boomba Clan brings us this hit song that is ruling the East African airwaves and judging by which kinds of hit songs we've been subjected to lately, Chonga viazi, is right where it should be.
Chonga viazi in Swahili basically means to peel potatoes.

Here's a rough translation, description, :-) of the whole video

A man tells his friend on the phone that he's going to go meet somebody. He proceeds to Spicy inn and as soon as he gets there, his date starts ordering all kinds of stuff which baffles him. Once, he's ready to order, she tells the waiter to "get him the same as mine." Our male friend says "I shut my mouth and smiled, (and) that's when I realised my pocket would not get far."

The chorus is as follows: "Utachonga Viazi, if you don't pay dat bill" - you will peel potatoes, if you don't pay that bill

Meanwhile, the chef and his staff are just laughing their heads off coz they know he can't afford it, and the girl eats all the food before he's even started.
The following conversation ensues
Man: "Sista uko seti?" (are you done?)
Woman: "Mm niko freshi" (yes, I'm cool)

Our male friend wants to get his game going and chat a little but
Woman: "please ebu chill, i have to get back to work"
(he's in shock)
Man: "ati nini?" (what's that - meaning- "are you serious?")

Our female friend ditches him with the bill which almost gives him a heart attack. In desperation, he pulls all kinds of things out of his pockets to offer the chef, including a steering wheel, :-D as payment.
The chef responds, "We don't take cheques or credit cards!"

When we hear the chorus again, the chef grabs him and tells his staff who are peeling potatoes - "you can have off" while they give our unfortunate male friend some work clothes.
The chef chases after the girl and tells her - "hizo vitu uli manga, huko umejipanga" - meaning - you ate a lot of food and brought this onto yourself.
The chef proclaims to the two - "hold the knife, start your work, chonga viazi!"

Probably this is the bridge in the song and the part I love the most, - "peel off another one, just like the other one".

The guy and the girl continue to argue while the chef and his staff have the greatest time of their lives ordering them around while they eat and have a party :D

Boomba Clan has another song out which is funny too called "Do not touch my car"
