Real Name Jacqui Carpede, Liesl Penniken, Mariechan Luiters

Jamali is a girl-group from South Africa, It is made up of Jacqui Carpede, Liesl Penniken, and Mariechan Luiters. Their music is mostly R&B and ventures into Afro-pop as well. They've been singing since childhood. They sing in Zulu and English.

They shined in South Africa's Coca Cola Pop Stars competition in 2004, finally losing out to Ghetto Lingo. They released their debut album, Jamali, shortly after. They released their second album, Yours Fatally in 2006.

Some of their songs include I'm a woman, Secrets, Kudala, Dalile - the hamba song, Move your body, Greatest love, Butterflies, I ain't your puppet, One of a kind, No known cure, Killing time, Things we do for love, etc
