Heated up

Rap verse 1
Neez baby, i'm here for the weekend
No fuss, it's a must we freakin'
And your man got reason to think we creepin
That's prolly why the cell phone beepin'
He callin', you ignorin'
Face it gurl you know your boyfriend boring
Who else you know can work it like that
No offense, you tense, let me bend that back, relax

Singing verse 1
Boy, I think that you dancing a little close to me
And the way that you move when your eyes are on me
Make me never want to leave
I can tell the song is moving slowly into me
The way you dancing boy, you better watch it now
Or you gonna make scream

Hook
Touch your toes and drop to the floor
Wine it up, pick it up once more
Turn around and move it
Dancing till you can't no more

Chorus 2x
Uuh, sweat dripping on my back
Floor is heating up
That's where the party's at
Uuh, can't never get enough
Till the clock is dead, you and I gon play

Singing verse 2
Ask her what steps you take
I got more and more interferes
And the girls on the floor keeping over here
Wishing they could be me
But for the night I am yours
From now till the clock is dead
For as long as we stay
The deejays gon play
And we gon dance away

Repeat Hook 2x

Rap verse 2
Right back like the sweat you feeling
So fresh, got that sex appealin'
But i aint trying to be your man, I ain't trying to be your friend
I ain't trying to be your long time lover
I just want a sneak preview
Trying to get you undercovers just like police do
Picture perfect just like a kodak
Me givin it to you and you throwing that back like that

Bridge 4x
Two-step, baby do it with me
Until I feeling the heat and I'm seeing you sweat

Repeat Chorus 4x

Repeat Bridge 4x till fade

2007 is indeed seeing the rise of R&B in Ghana. Apart from Irene and Jane, you have Becca, LIB Queen (from Liberia), Dela, among others.

The rapper is called Neez Buck (Nana Kwabena), more info on him can be found at http://www.museke.com/?q=node/902

The first time I heard the song, I was really excited, it is definitely world class and can rival most of the R&B songs on the continent. Abraham Ohene Djan also did a great job on the video. You should check their song called Babe at http://www.museke.com/?q=node/1658
