In the midst of all the great music coming from West Africa these days, the coupe decale movement from Ivory Coast, Angelique Kidjo holding it down for Benin as usual, Nigerian music ruling the African continent, Samini and co flying the flag for Ghana, Mokobe and Salif Keita representing for Mali, the hip hop heads in Senegal battling for the limelight with Youssou Ndour among others, we have not heard too much about Togolese music. Don't blame it on the quality, Togolese musicians are just as great as their West African counterparts, you just need to hear them (out) :-)
