I came across this new artiste, Dela, of TV3's Mentor II. She's being managed by Okyeame Quophi and Wife, Stacy (of music music fame).
Below is the video for Odo from Dela's debut album.
Enjoy!
I love her African prints and the video..
Okyeame and Stacy are often seen rocking African prints usually made by Ophelia Nyantekye, a Ghanaian gospel artiste

, GHC 7.35 only.
The dresses are on point! I love them, and the video is so colourful and beautiful. Ophelia Nyantakyi is a fashion designer? I thought she made enough money selling gospel, gospel music is the best selling music genre in Ghana.
I like Dela's song, this Mentor competition is really churning out a lot of great musicians. I heard something by Cee (Asem) the last time and it was great. Adez is also in high demand, performing in many shows and concerts.
Much props to Emklan Entertainment for a great video and helping out Dela, I believe she will do well. Her song is not entirely highlife or afro-pop or RnB and people like that and it should help her become even more popular. Maybe she should name her own genre :-D
thanks for the post Essie
PS: She really looks like Dede (another presenter and CEO of American dreams)
Dela was in Mentor II and part of the Greater Accra group
Great video and equally great song, loved her during mentor
She is the rockas weeee!
I am definitely in plenty of like with her dresses, and the vid is cute too. How come I never heard of this cute wonder before?I'm deprived. keep 'em coming Essie!
:-)
Dela is managed by Okyeame Quophi, himself one half of the famous Akyeame duo that brought us Mesan aba and Me nko meda. He had a solo album in 2004/5 which had a hit like Krokyea and also Shake that thing. You can check the video out below.
Concerning new artistes, in the right corner, we have Dela, repping the highlife, afro-pop, rnb movement with Odo with a really beautiful video. In the left corner, we have K K Vidash, repping the hiplife, ragga, dancehall movement with Shake that thing (ironically eh)
Check the video featuring 4nky boy below
Now is this Ghana's Lady Saw, Khia, who else are the top female dancehall musicians? Judge for yourself. Abrewa Nana and Ras Nigga also do some dancehall.
Hey she is finally on here..saw da vid some days ago..even though her genre is quite diff. from lil kim's, she reminds me somehow of lil kim. maybe will get into her stuff with time
Okyeame Quophi was also a DJ at Luv fm, Kumasi..loved his programme..erm erm, i think it was called Ofie ne fie from back in 1999 with odasani..still scratching me head..
anyway hope to hear more of 4unky boy..see what he has to offer..
''New video from disastrous the african king for upcoming album ghanaian made american influence.'' - Dizastrous

Saw a video for a girl called Ranaya. It is for an R&B song called Logoligi. It featured one Swift hanni, who is supposedly a ragga artiste.
