Colossal would like to use this medium to inform friends ,members of the public and fellow participants in the Nigeria entertainment industry that there continues to exist a case between Colossal Entertainment Nigeria Limited and Mr. Emmanuel Okose, (the artist known also as Soul E) before the Federal High Court.

The matter between Colossal and Mr. Emmanuel Okose is before the Federal High Court Lagos and all issues before the honourable court are yet to be determined.

We use this medium to advise everyone that there continues to exist a valid contract between Colossal and Mr. Emmanuel Okose. There are 4 years remaining in the contract and there are responsibilities under the contract that are yet to be honoured by Mr. Emmanuel Okose. There is also a pending case of defamation instituted by Colossal against Mr. Emmanuel Okose before the State High Court, Ikeja.

We similarly use this medium to advice any party that undertakes or proposes to undertake any contractual relationship with Mr. Emmanuel Okose without the express consent of Colossal that such actions shall be held to be in breach of the contractual relationship that exists between Colossal and Mr. Emmanuel Okose.

Any statement from any party claiming any situation different from the above is false and calculated to mislead members of the public.

All enquiries about this matter and all requests for the services of Mr. Emmanuel Okose should strictly be directed to any of the offices of Colossal Entertainment Nigeria Limited. Marketers, promoters, record companies; please take note.

Colossal is a firm believer that the Nigeria entertainment sector can only be uplifted and developed when there are dependable legal structures guiding the relationship between participants. We believe that the failure to attract both foreign and local investment in the entertainment sector is largely the result of inadequate legal framework to secure and support such investments.

As a company, it is our fundamental objective and directive principle that we use this present unfortunate situation between our company and Mr. Emmanuel Okose to set a example which will serve as a standard for future contractual relationships in the entertainment sector.

We use this medium to inform our friends, members of the public, industry participants and those who have been following this sensational case that Colossal will not relent in its effort to seek a legal solution to this situation. We are prepared to commit the time and resources to see this through no matter now long it may take.

I remember seeing a gig of his, i was tripped at all the promo at the event - his promotors were definitely out to do their best and give him all the publicity and now he bites the hand that fed him!? not good me thinks!
