Tutu Alagba was born Collins Yartey and is a musician from Ghana. He was given the name Tutu Alagba due to his tremendous achievements in music by his friend Jerry Gaba. Tutu Alagba means 'bishop' in a Nigerian language.

He was born in Ghana to Mr. Nii Yartey Quaye and Mrs. Margaret Tekyibea. He is the second born in a family of seven. He attended Feden preparatory and Kings College international. He spent his high school years in New Edubiase middle school in the Ashanti region.

He started with music as his hobby and took inspiration from traditional songs and lyrics. Tutu Alagba came out in 1999 as part of a group called Efiefour. Their album was with the akwele suma album of which he was the leader and founder of the group.

His current album, Oh Africa, was recorded at 989 music recording studios at Adabraka, Accra in Ghana early this year 2008. He plans to expand his music career and assist up and coming musicians to win greater laurels.
