Soundcity, one of Africa's most popular music video shows is organizing its own music video awards for Nigeria. Faze looks like a front runner, he has as many as 4 different videos nominated. DJ Jimmy Jatt leads the pack with 6 nominations while
D'banj and Asa follow with 5 each. P-Square earned 4 chances at glory while newcomer Ty Bello was nominated in 3 categories.

Ty Bello's Greenland video is just genius. I hope she wins. P-Square and Silver Saddih's videos are cool too. I know D'Banj is up for a number of awards but am not really feeling the 'Move your body' video.

The Jebele video is pretty good and Sengemenge was a lot of work presumably. It takes a whole lot to direct Olori Oko though so I vote for that one.
