De Indispensables AKA (IND) is a Nigerian music duo made up of Bilekipiri Lenny Worufah (Lenny B) and Paul Betto Indikoro (Tick Lips). Their music is influenced by hip hop, rhythm and blues, among others and represent Afro Urban music.

They are on the Grafton Records label, a UK and Nigerian recording label founded by Tonye Ibiama.

They both hail from Bayelsa state but are Port Harcourt based Nigerian musicians.T

Lenny B was once the lead vocalist and founder of the Heirs of David, a musical group made of 5 members while Tick Lips was a rapper in another group called the Amazons.

They came together and took part in the Grafton Entertainment talents hunt competition during the late entry of the competition. They emerged victorious in a pool of over 300 contestants and then were signed to Grafton Entertainment.

They released their debut album on titled 'Press On' on 12th December 2005. The album did very well on the back of some really successful videos.

They were rated numero uno on the Mtvbase.com countdown for 4 weeks remaining on it for about 3 months. They also topped the South Africa's Video Music charts for 2 weeks and remained in the top ten for 2 months.

They have supported artistes like Bennie Man, Akon and Wayne Wonder.

They are already a well-established name back home in Nigeria but De Indispensables will also be known in the UK before long. The duo, who blend Reggae and Hip Hop with cool African vibes, is about to invade Britain’s
airwaves with the infectious Afro-Reggae tune "Sweet Mama."

De Indispensables are already gathering momentum in Nigeria. Already they have performed and recorded with MOBO-winning rapper and Choice FM DJ Phoebe One. Nigeria’s Radio Palmwine has named them as one of the most exciting new acts to emerge in 2005, an accolade made even greater when they were voted into the station’s top ten by its listeners. They have also appeared on MNet TV’s South Al Channel and Channel O alongside other top Nigeria urban acts and DJs and have been featured in two of Nigeria’s national newspapers.

Now, in a first taste of UK and European interest, De Indispensables were the subject of a documentary on the international black culture channel BEN TV (on Sky Digital, Telewest etc.) in November 2005.

The single Sweet Mama, which also features J.Boy, shows De Indispensables indulging the Afro Reggae end of their spectrum. Its lilting buoyant melody and cool vocal harmonies will delight fans well beyond Reggae and Urban circles. To follow will be their debut UK album release, currently scheduled for April 2006, which will demonstrate the diversity and sheer maturity in their writing and performance.

Some of their songs include Cinderella, I'm Free, Scatter D, Let the money come, I really wanna worship God, Sunshine, etc
