Outta Town Entertainment is a Naija music group based out of the UK
November 2007, the waters of the nigerian music industry have been disturbed by the resultant force of the collision between pure talent in music and entrepreneurship. sometime in 2004, from a confusion of wannabe stars in the midlands of the United Kingdom, a common goal was identified by a number of individuals who were pulled together by the force of creativity. Osaze Omonbude, Samuel Akpata and Femi Oyenuga could not help but chase their dreams which got them drawn together in consortium over the various means through which their beats and bars, as well as those of others in the same shoes, could be heard. they shared the same dream. However, they shared something even deeper, origin. All from Nigeria and studying in the UK, the name Outta town entertainment came ever so naturally. The company was set up whilst all were still students, anticipating a proper take off upon graduation. So far, the take off has been unexpectedly successful as the first mixtape project "FMNP vol 1" sparked up great interest within the nigerian community. The mission is to take into Nigeria, and Africa as a whole, a means through which authentic talent can be honed and shown to the world.
Femi "Nasty" Oyenuga - Profile
He says they call him nasty, however, it is believed that Femi loves being called Nasty. why u might ask? contrary to his alias, femi is a chilled out and passionate maestro in the fields of beat making, spitting bars and song writing. Femi discovered his love for music at the tender age of 6, begging his mother to let him get taught by his older sisters' piano tutor. when he got good enough, he started playing in church. a few years later, his older brother wrote him a verse which he memorised and recitted almost every minute of the day, the rapper was born. playing piano alongside rapping on his own became his favourite pastime as the youngest child out of six who was mostly home alone during his childhood because his older siblings were away at boarding school. the love for music grew and the skills got honed over time. beating on a desk whilst his mates rapped in Kings College Lagos in 1998, was what prepared femi for the wonderful world of music production and creating beats. At this stage, Femi would seize every possible opportunity to entertain any audience. from rapping with choirs in church, to producing alongside Ehi "Quiet Storm" Etomi and OJB Jezreel, and from the street carnival on raufu williams, surulere, lagos, Nigeria to some of the biggest stages in the UK to performing at African and Caribbean events at universities around the UK. the way he pulls words together effortlessly, he can be described as a relentless musician.
