Ohemaa Mercy is known as Mercy Twum-Ampofo, a gospel musician from Ghana.

Mercy attended St Peters Anglican Primary and J.S.S, proceeded to Ghana Secondary School in Koforidua and finally to SDA Teacher Training College at Asokore, a suburb of Koforidua. To contribute her quota to the nation, she has taken it upon herself to teach at her former primary school.

Ohemaa Mercy who is married with a 3 year old boy by name Kelvin Twum Ampofo has backed songs of gospel greats like Yaw Baah Barima and the gospel family, Davis Ampofo and others. She is a teacher as well.

Her 2007 album enjoyed massive airplay and won her many nominations at the Ghana Music Awards. She got the inspiration for her popular Menwu da track after visiting the late Brother Philip, who was a friend, in hospital. She did this song and another with her sound engineer called Nacy.

Some of her songs include Madi me ho, Nahendi, Edin Jesus, Wadwen, Adwenpa, Se manhyia Yesu, Meda wase, Menbo hu and Oye Onyame.
