My favorite South African songs

My current favorite South African song is Dying to Dance by Gothy P – please share yours in the comment section below!

I realized that the lyrics of the song are thought-provoking without having to be a deep analysis: “Surrender, disappear and see your world with broken eyes”

At the centre of my life today, you fought everything that made me say seen and not seen. So I’m leaving when morning comes bleeding light. See me wanting to die/We’re dying but keep walking/And death is what you want out of life.

Many of South African songs are influential and help remind us of our home country. Here are some of the most iconic songs of all time.
