Innocent Ujah Idibia is an R and B artiste from Nigeria. He is popularly known as 2Face (Tuface) Idibia and also goes by 2Baba. He grew up in Jos with a love of music but didn't get into the act seriously until he moved into Lagos in 1997. 2Face signifies the inside and outside of people - outside being the first impressions and the inside being what a person is once you get to know him/her.
He became part of the Nigerian RnB group, Plantashun Boiz, together with Faze and BlackFace. They had several hit singles with songs like Emmemma, If life, Knock mi off, One N Only, You N I, Don't You Know, among others. All three have gone to have successful solo careers even though 2Baba believes they may get back together to make more music.
His debut album had the single African Queen which shot him to worldwide fame. He won Kora awards and was adjudged MTV Europe's best African artiste. He is the face of young African music.
He is starting an NGO as well called the Innocent Idibia Foundation to help less priviliged kids.
Some of his songs include Odi ya, Anything, Ocho and Proud to be an African which he did with Sound Sultan, Faze and Wyclef Jean.

Song lyrics
Face 2 Face (2004)
African Queen
Nfana Ibaga
Keep on rocking
Right here
Ole (thief)
Thank U lord
U no holy pass
Nfana Ibaga (remix)
Grass to Grace (2006)
For instance
My love (with VIP)
Ebe like say
No shaking
One love
If love is a crime
True love
See me so
Enter the place (2008)
Enter the place

That's a great story about 2Face. I hope he gets back with Black Face and Faze Alone to do more music.
It's sad those armed robbers attacked him too.
He's the best though, I love his new album.
2face is the best musician in africa and he has the best songs. my favorites are see me so, true love, african queen and ole. big ups 2face
It seems TuFace is recording a new with Black Face and Faze. He's had a magnificent solo career and even though his second album hasn't done as well as the first, I am sure 2Baba's star will continue to shine.
So rumour has it that TuFace has made more money than any other man in his clan. Hmm.
Anyway, 2Baba has been named a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations' world food programme, joining other Nigerian icons like Wole Soyinka, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, John Fashanu who are also working with the UN to fight different causes across the African continent.

Seems 2face is on a whirlwind of success and celebration, congrats to him for winning the 2007 MOBO Best African Act award. He had stiff competition, but he deserved it! Grass 2 Grace is the serious rockas!
Tuface Idibia deserves this award and am so happy he won it!
First it was Samini last year and Tuface this one, two of my favorite musicians :-)
Video of him collecting his MOBO award
I can imagine how it must feel to be a proud Nigerian this coming independence day o! What with world championships, awards etc.
Some of us are bombarded with Africa's problems from 8am to 6pm, so its nice to hear some lekker news every so often!
in ur grass 2 grace d track if love is a crime video i was ashamed wen i saw u not puting on nigeria colour.
Seun and Dammy, come on now, 2Face is busy uniting Africa, you know he loves Nigeria as much as you do. His most recent speech is unequivocal in his love for Naija.
I quote, "As far as I'm comfortable where I am, I've got no hassles. Whatever will be will be. I might be in the US and be hit by a stray bullet. Anything good or evil can happen to you anywhere. I have my business here so I'm not planning to relocate. I'll travel anytime I have to, and come back home. There's no place like home. But I want my people to be more positive and honest. Violence does no one no good."
So be proud of him aight? :-)
The lyrics for the Lagos anthem is available.

WHAT HAPPENING ABOUT TU FACE AND R KELLY
Info on R Kelly duet here
It seems 2Face hit the studios to record a duet with R&B superstar R.Kelly. Sources told Glitz Beats that both singers first met in October 2007 shorty after 2Face’s robbery attack. It is believed that’s when they laid the foundation for the collaboration.
We'll be watching out for hit.

Ayenithegreat reported:
2face, who’s one of Nigeria’s most gifted singers is believed to have opted out of the relationship with Joice Ize-Iyamu, of Rogue entertainment, preferring to now be represented by his self-found company Hypertek Entertainment.
Hypertek has been in existence since 2005, but had been mostly inactive until recent times. Now with an office in Lagos, it is believed the singer is building his own machinery in preparation for his third solo album.
I think you should get in touch with Hypertek

when 2face's second album came out, people talked of it falling short of expectations, it didn't have another African queen type track. In the end, 2Face won more huge awards and he had great airplay and I will argue even better songs. 2Face is coming out again and this album would be 'Enter the place'.
Read a quick preview by Aye ni the great at this link.
Excerpt
Funky Noise and Pako are below average cuts that could easily have been performed by 2face protégées Da Natives, Black Tribe or W4. And ‘anything’, although a notch better that the latter, follows the same pattern (not unsurprisingly, the song has a couple of 2face followers on it).
It is the title track ‘enter the place’ that saves this collection. Sound Sultan joins 2face to kill it on the song, providing another radio-club banger that fans will come to love in the coming weeks.
What more? This is just a tip off the iceberg: the singer has collabos with R.kelly, Sway, Beenie Man coming on the full album. Let’s believe Mr Idibia is saving the best for last. For, if the rest of the songs on the album are like what this EP presents, I’m afraid, trouble may be on the way…
